Leggo needs a home asap. Please consider to adopt or foster this handsome boy. His adopter has developed severe allergies. All avenues were explored medically to try to make it work, but nothing has helped. So the decision to give Leggo up has been made. Leggo is uplifting, smart, sneaky and a fun pup. His adopter has truly enjoyed Leggo. He gets along well with Tux the cat at home, although Tux Handsome Leggo is in need of a new home ASAP. Leggo is a stunning 3 year old who has had a bout of some bad luck in finding the right fit. Leggo's perfect match, is a strong pack leader to keep Leggo on the right path. A leader that Leggo will respect and not test the waters with. Leggo is having a hard time understanding some things are not his for the taking. Although he has shown no aggressive behavior to the kids at home, he will take their toys. We guess Leggo is having a hard time with dont touch my "leggo", taking toys from children never goes so well and Leggo thinks every toy is his. This is taking a toll on the family. Although his person has tried to work on this, it is hard when you have smaller kids as they need time for training themselves. His present family loves Leggo but they feel he would do better in a home with older kids, a couple or even a single person where Leggo can enjoy focusing on other things, not children's toys. Leggo is very well behaved otherwise, he is house trained, crate trained and generally very obedient . He is loyal to his person. Leggo would be best as the only dog in the home but has no issues with cats. He actually lives with a cat at his present home, and has lived prior with a grumpy old cat before. Leggo went for professional training, so he understands structure and respects that. He needs someone who will continue that structure so he can continue to shine. He loves walks, going to the beach, hiking, camping, is good in the car, or just relaxing by your side. We need to find the Hand that fits the Glove for Leggo so he can finally find his place. If you think you can help him out by fostering or adopting him Please apply. is a bit of a grump Leggo seems to brush it off and goes about his business. As for kids, Leggo does well and has had no issues around his niece and nephew. They really love Leggo who has been great with them. Leggo stayed with them while his adopters were on a business trip, they heard great things about how well behaved Leggo was. They didn't even mind that Leggo's puppyish side made a little trouble with some hot wheels cars being confused with a chew bone. There were no hard feelings for this event. Laughs, actually. Other then that he was next to a perfect gentlemen. When on walks Leggo gets a little nervous or fearful when seeing strangers with out a proper introduction. At home he is fine with strangers that are welcomed by his family. He is very friendly and enjoys the company. There have been many times when he'll meet a dog and it's totally fine. They'll sniff each other, walk alongside each other without a problem. A few other times, he didn't like the other dogs energy and he'd let the dog know when the dog got too close. A meet and greet would be best if there are other dogs in the home. His leash skills have improved and leash training will need to be continued. Leggo is a great boy. He has good energy and enjoys walks, hikes and going to the beach. He is house trained, and crate trained. He has gone to training, for both one on one and group training which his adopter has paid for the life of Leggo. If Leggo's new family would like to continue this training his prior adopter will guide his new family on how to continue this training. If you would like to make Leggo part of your life please fill out an application for him.
