Hi, my name is Leif. When I'm with my human family I like to play tug-of-war with my rope toy, but my favorite thing is to lay down within scritching distance of my foster dad's chair so he can rub my belly!
I like to play with my sister and the three other dogs living with me. Mostly we play tug-of-war with my rope toy, but sometimes we just wrestle with each other. One of my foster sisters is a one-year-old pit bull and she's teaching me how to play like a big dog!
I haven't been to an off-leash area because I'm not done having my immunization shots, but I do just fine with the other four dogs I live with!
I've also met the four Papillons who live next door, and we all get along great...as long as I let them be the boss!
I've only been around for about three months so I haven't met many kids, but I've been just fine with the kids I've met. I love everybody!
I haven't met any other kinds of animals, but I'd sure like to!
In case youre wondering, I do ask to go out when I gotta go.
People tell me that I'm more adoptable if I know things. I've heard my foster dad say a million times how happy he is that I go outside to do my business. He always leaves the door open for me, so why wouldn't I? :-) My foster dad is also teaching me to sit calmly whenever he give me a treat.
My foster family knows me pretty well and they think the perfect family for me would be one that has experience with bully breeds. I know that we can be a little willful at times, but someone who's willing to share exercise, discipline and affection will have a sweet and loving companion for life. You'll see right away that I really do want to please you.
Geez - I almost forgot to tell you that I think you're going to love my extra-fuzzy face!

We encourage you to come out to an upcoming adoption event (posted on the home page of our site) and meet several of the dogs in our rescue to help you determine the best fit for your family.
Personal introductions can be arranged upon completion of an approved adoption application - http://www.pbrsd.com/forms/adoption.htm
