9/11/16 - Update on Liberty. She is doing SO MUCH BETTER !!!! Liberty is doing great with socialization !!! She still doesn't want to leave the yard too much but she loves running around and playing as much as she can. She does play bows, and is starting to explore playing with toys now. She is a great dog. She has no resource guarding issues, perfect house behavior, inside and out. She will be your best friend and soak up all the love you have to give her.
7/10/16 Liberty came from a very sad situation. She was one of 100 dogs that were taken from a large hoarding situation. Thankfully, all 100 were taken in by several rescue organizations. But Liberty did not come out untouched by the situation she was in. Her foster mom says she has severe seperation anxiety. She trembles so bad when she is out of her crate. Liberty lets her foster mom leash her and walk her outside with no issue but is just so scared to move. The other dogs in her house sense that Liberty is scared and gives her quite time; even though Liberty doesn't mind having other dogs around. In fact, we know that her foster moms personal dog will help Liberty gain some confidence and give her security. She is curious but is just so scared and timid. She does give her foster mom kisses, which is very promising in showing that she is trying. We believe that Liberty will need to be with us at least 2 months. She needs to be slowly socialized with new things and help her gain confidence and security.
Liberty is spayed, current on all vaccines, heart worm negative and free of any parasites. She is also micro chipped.
