Lonely Wallflower seeks Forever Family
Lonely Wallflower seeks Forever Family Liza is a female black and white domestic short hair, born May 28th 2012.
Liza was found as a stray kitten in Casual Estates trailer park along with her sister Kennedy (who is also here for adoption). They were brought to Kitty Corner to wait for their forever family. Though the sisters are good friends, they do not need to be adopted together.
Liza is friendly and affectionate to people she knows, but she is shy with strangers. She won't be the first cat to come over and greet someone new, but if you come over to her and interact with her, she will warm up quickly and become friendly and involved with people who show her attention. With time and patience, we feel she will settle into a new home and become more relaxed and friendly once she gets comfortable there.
Liza gets along OK with other cats, and seems to enjoy their company. She would make a great companion cat for a family with other feline members. We think Liza would do best in a home where there was another cat who was comfortable and friendly with people, both to be a companion to Liza and to be a role model to ease her anxiety about interacting with people.
Liza would like a family who would take the first step in making friends with her, and understand that she needs to take some baby steps toward joining a new family.
