Liza is a 5 year old, 45 pound Husky mix. We found her at the animal shelter. When her family did not come for her, nor was she adopted, we took her into Rescue.
Liza was a shelter favorite. All the volunteers enjoyed spending time with her and taking her for walks on the leash. She has such a mellow and sweet personality. Walks really nice on the leash and has a very gentle nature.
She has been very easy to foster. Was easily crate trained and is very quiet. She is well behaved outdoors and enjoys her time with her foster family indoors. Lays quietly at your feet, very content. Enjoys being brushed. Surprisingly, she has very little shedding.
Liza met the cat in her foster home. They had a stare down. Liza's hair did raise on her back, but the cat did not run off which is typically a good sign. That being said, if there is a cat in the home, plan for one on one socialization as it doesn't appear that there was a cat in her previous home.
We have not had her around young children. If there are kids in the home, they should be of at least teen age.
