Lucy is a 2-year-old female Treeing Walker Coonhound who must be spayed before she leaves the shelter with her new family. She is a very pretty girl who weighs 45 pounds making her a medium sized dog. Lucy is tricolor--brown, white, and black. This good looking gal would enjoy life best if she had a nice fenced yard to keep her safe and secure. Lucy would make an exceptional family dog especially for a family with an active lifestyle. She would enjoy children tremendously and Lucy would never turn down a romp in the yard with her new family. Lucy gets along well with other dogs, though the family cat could be in peril, as Coonhounds have strong chasing instincts. At the end of a day of playing, Lucy will probably want to curl up on the couch for some affection and relaxation. Lucy will make a fine family companion for her adopter. She is already housetrained and is going to be an excellent new family member for someone. Could it be you?
Dogs and puppies may be adopted for a fee of $120. All cats and kittens may be adopted for $50. Adoption fees for pure breds may be higher and will need to be discussed with the Shelter Director. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.
