Lucy is a very sweet, friendly, and happy puppy. She will always give you kisses, greet everyone, and she loves, loves, loves to be around her people. Lucy still has some puppy energy. She enjoys playing with her chihuahua friend, playing with her toys, and romping around in her yard. She has a medium energy level as she can be a little rambunctious sometimes, but is still mellow due to her leg injury. Lucy may need to have her right, front leg amputated. Any potential owners needs to be aware that she may become a tripod dog. Our medical staff will happily fill you in on her prognosis. This girl is housetrained, wonderful with other dogs, and with kids of all ages. However, we don't know how he behaves around cats. Lucy is learning how to be home alone without her people and has worked up to three hours of alone time. She does well when left loose in the house, but would prefer an adopter who won't leave her alone for long stretches of time. Lucy loves belly rubs; she'll roll over to let you know she wants one. She will be an awesome dog to take on frequent walks and to play with in a park. An ideal home for her would include a nice yard, and a big family who can be there for her. All Lucy wants is to be loved, accepted, and to be near you always. When you look into her eyes, they say "Pet me forever!" Visit Lucy, she may be the new family member you're looking for!
