Hi, my name is Lucy and I'm about 3 years old. I was originally surrendered to Bond County Humane Society by my adopters because their family situation changed and they could no longer care for me. I was adopted in January 2016 to a family with 2 adults and a 2 year old daughter. I got along with everyone and let the 2 year old lay on me or do whatever she wanted. My adopter was amazed how tolerant I was with the little girl. They said I was excellent with the child. Late in August I started showing signs that I didn't want the 2 year old around me when I was eating. One day I snapped at her when I was eating and broke the skin. It happened one more time after that. I have never done anything else to the 2 year old that caused any concern about her safety. I have never shown any sign of food aggression with the adults. My adopters said I am an excellent dog. They said I have an amazing personality and very tolerant of small children with the exception of food. I am friendly, playful and energetic. My ideal family will have a fenced yard. Riding in the car is not one of my favorite things to do, but I tolerate it after a little whining. I am OK with other dogs, but would be OK with being the only pet in the house. I am housetrained. I am available for immediate adoption. I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for heartworm disease, treated for internal and external parasites and microchipped. My adoption fee is $100.00.
