Lucy and Ricky make quite the pair!! These poor pups were discarded by their previous owner and found tied together to a tree in Connecticut close to an animal control center. We do not know the relationship between the two of them but we would like for them to stay together in their foster and/or adoptive home. Lucy is about a 1-1.5 years young and Ricky is around 3. Despite their sad past, Lucy is still happy go lucky! Although shy, she loves everyone she meets, is super sweet and energetic. She behaves like a puppy, is eager to learn and would benefit from obedience training. She will need some further help in housebreaking. She is currently being crate trained and is doing well. Ricky, understandably so, is more cautious of strangers but he loves his family and the people he knows. He will need help to overcome his trust issues but once he gets to know you, he’s fine. He is crate trained and housebroken. Ricky listens well, is smart, and obedient. He is loyal and happy! He will sit and gently take treats from your hand. Lucy and Ricky are both super happy cuties in spite of the way they were left. Both love toys and Ricky loves bones as well. They are ready and waiting for you to head over to www.nyabandonedangels.com to fill out an application to meet them. They need an ADULT-ONLY foster or adoptive home with a fenced in yard where they can heal from their past and begin to flourish for the future in NY, NJ, CT, PA, RI, MA, VT, NH, DE, MD, or VA. They are up to date on all their shots, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative. Both pups will be freshly groomed and come to you with a new leash and collar. Hurry, because this entertaining duo is ready to love a family furever!
