Lucy Liu is a 7-year-old, 7-pound Toy Terrier mix. She was a little shy when we first met, but she's blossomed at her foster house. She grows in confidence - and adorableness - with every passing day. Despite her small size, Lucy Liu has a huge heart and a lot of spunk. She loves big, and she wants to be loved, too. She strikes the perfect balance between being independent and being your velcro dog. Sometimes she follows you around the house, and sometimes she likes her "me" time.
She greets other dogs with a wagging tail and smile on her face. And she approaches people of all ages much the same way, happy to sit still for some petting and cuddles or do a little dance for some laughs. She's lived comfortably with kitties, too. Really, she just gets along with everyone.
Lucy Liu waits patiently as you put on her halter to take her for a walk, then she spins and dances in circles to express her excitement. She loves going on walks and is well-behaved on the leash. She also knows a few basic commands. When left home alone, Lucy Liu is a good girl - no anxiety and no barking (as long as she doesn't see the mailman). And she's house-trained, so no accidents either. At night, she sleeps quietly in her dog bed and can hold her bladder until morning.
Spend some time with her sweet little face and spiky hair, and you're sure to fall in love. We certainly have.
Lucy Liu's guardian is ill and can no longer care for her. She's been a very loved dog and has come to POMDR to find a new forever family.
