~~Hello I am Luna 2, a dark-colored German Shepherd. I am not sure I remember much from before I was rescued, but I am pretty sure I was outside all of the time. Then I ended up at this awful place called a shelter and at three weeks my time was almost up. So my foster mom came just in the nick of time. Now I get to spend time inside with a bed, and I don’t have to worry about where I will get food. I am very food motivated! I love to walk on a leash and get excited and sort of sing when I see the leash come out. I get along well with both male and female dogs but my foster mom says I need a proper introduction (whatever that means) because I get so excited when meeting a new dog I like to run right up on them and bark. I currently live with 2 large male GSDs and I love them. I am crate trained but do not really need to be in a crate because I will just sleep on my bed and not bother anything. I am housebroken, but I have to be let out at night and early in the morning or I will have trouble holding it. The first vet thought I was 8 years old. After being fostered, I went back to the vet and he thought I was more like 5-6 and that I had just had a hard life and looked older than my years. Now I love to play with balls although sometimes I don’t bring them back. And I LOVE water play. There are these foster cats that are interesting. Mostly they sit around but one likes to run and I can’t help but try to chase. I love to sit next to my people inside by their chairs. I would do best in a home with a non-dominant female dog and either no cats or dog-savvy cats that will not prompt me to chase. I have not been around small children but I do just fine around older ones. Foster mom says I have had a difficult first part of life and that I deserve to have some comfort and fun now!
