Gentle - Friendly - Loving It's been a hard-knock life for Mac, and he has the scuffs and dings to prove it, but despite the challenges he's faced, Mac has a lot of love to give. He's not a spry kitten anymore, and will need some help to get onto your lap, but once he is there, he will gladly reward you with purrs while you brush his soft fur. In fact, Mac's favorite bonding activity is to be brushed. He likes food, and he likes brushing, and he most especially likes being brushed while eating! Mac is too frail for rough and tumble play anymore. He's more a Netflix on the couch kind of guy. Mac gets along well with small, calm dogs, and is largely indifferent to other cats. He needs a somewhat quiet home where he won't be knocked over by rambunctious roommates of the four-legged or two-legged variety! An adopter who loves older, sweet, calm gentlemanly cats would be purrrrfect for Mac. You can learn more about Mac on his facebook page, which is administered by his foster mom. Just search for 'Mac the Lonely Cat' and his sweet mug will pop right up! Previous to his stay with APA!, Mac had been declawed. As a result of this he must remain an indoor cat. Mac has Chronic Renal Disease, which means his kidneys are not functioning as well as they once were. This condition is so common in older cats that APA! offers a special adoption package for them. All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team. For further information or to meet this kitty, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
