skin issues cleared up; on a grain-free diet
This loyal and affectionate gal is Maddy! Maddy is approximately 6 years old. She weighs roughly 50 pounds, but believes herself to be a small cuddly lap dog! Maddy does well with her foster parents and is great on a leash for walks. She doesn't require a fence as she currently uses a tie out in the backyard and loves to be near her favorite people. Maddy is very affectionate and would love to spend the majority of her day cuddling and getting petted. She loves her belly rubs!
Maddy enjoys spending the rest of her time playing with her rope toy and loves to play fetch and tug of war with it. Maddy has some seasonal allergies and does best eating a grain free food. Maddy is very well behaved and knows many commands such as sit, lay down, stay, shake, and high five. She currently lives with a feisty feline friend and doesn't pay her any attention at all. Maddy seems to get along well with other large male dogs that she encounters, although slow and proper introductions are recommended. She is a little too dominant for small or female dogs.
Maddy is housebroken and crate trained. Her typical routine includes going outside to potty (she is great with sleeping in also), eating breakfast, and hanging out until she goes to the kennel when her parents leave. Maddy is fine with the kennel and typically sleeps, although make sure it's latched completed or she'll open it! Maddy is a super sweet girl and would make a great addition to any family looking for a well behaved and affectionate animal. Please let us know if you'd like to meet her or have any questions!
