Madison "swimmer puppy"
**UPDATE**
1/9/13 Madison is quickly approaching her first birthday. We had decided to wait to put her up for adoption untill 1 year so we could better know her abilitlys.
Madison is in daipers and is getting frequent urinary infections but other than the fact she walks on her front feet is a perfect happy puppy.
As you would imagine I WILL BE VERY VERY PICKY ABOUT HER FUREVER HOME. I have had Madison for 9 months and love her to pieces. She is also very attached to me. But That being said I do think that there is even a better home out there for her then mine. I would love to see madison out and about, she brings amazement and smiles wherever she goes. If she could go walk for the kids at valley childerns or at the veterans hospital she would inspire so many people. To see more photos / videos of madison check out her FB page.
If you think you have the best home in the world for her then feel free to fill out a application. I will be doing a home check so local adopters only.

Swimmer puppies have ribs that bow out, the heart and other organs may be pushed into the pleural cavity and displace or decrease the air volume of the lungs; as a result, untreated pups become lethargic, lacking
in energy and strength. The hind legs typically are extremely weak; they may be tucked under the torso or extend behind the pup, but in either case they have little or no movement. Water therapy and massage may be beneficial to improve coordination, muscle development, and better circulation.

Madison is a happy, little angel! She’s a real fighter; two in her litter died from Parvo. She loves playing and barking and being cuddled. With only one short week of massage therapy, her little hind legs have gone from being limp to showing movement and strength. We see this as a very promising sign that someday Madison will be running with the big dogs!
