Maggie 4 4 year old female Dog friendly Crate trained Fostered in Edmonds, WA Hi there everyone, I am Maggie 4, but you can just call me Maggie. I came to NWBR when my family had some life changes and sadly, knew that the best thing for me was to find me a loving, safe home with the assistance of NWBR. I was very confused when I first got here and missed my family a lot. My foster mom could tell that I was very loved. As you can see, I am a fawn with black mask. I've heard a couple people say that's their favorite, and I hope it's yours! My tail is very short (too short, maybe) but I won't be knocking anything off the coffee table, so I guess that's a positive! It takes me a little bit of time to get used to feeling safe. But within a few days, I realized I was safe and loved in my foster home. I live here with three grown ups, a teenager, and even a little dog! I get along great with that little dog and would probably be most happy in a home with a fur companion for me to play with. But I also love playing with my people and get so excited when my foster dad gets home and we can go play ball in the yard. I run zoomies around the yard really fast! I was crated in my old home, but not so much in my new one. My foster mom is home most of the time so I get to be out and playing. When foster mom goes places, I love to tag along. When she says, "let's go!" I jump in the back of the car and am so good in there. Car rides are so much fun. You can take me anywhere. I stick very close to my people and am working on my leash skills. I never try to run off or escape. I enjoy treats and will sometimes sit nicely and wait for them. With some training, I bet I could learn to do even more polite tricks. Sometimes I bark when people come through the door, even if I know them. I am working on that and making progress. I am starting to realize that when people come in, it means more loves and more kisses if I am quiet and wiggly. I prefer sleeping in my own bed, but I won't tell you no if you invite me up in yours. I will jump right up and give you all kinds of love and affection. That's just the kind of gal I am! Full of love and happiness. I am ready for my forever home. A place that is active, fun and safe. I will reward you with unconditional love and tons of wiggles!
