Before adopting, please assess the amount of time you have to provide your dog with proper house-training, crate-training, obedience training, love, socialization and, frequent potty breaks. K-9 Lifesavers recommends all new adopters enroll their new puppy into group obedience to ensure the puppy is well socialized and properly trained.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for most common intestinal worms, heartworm testing if the puppy is older than 5 months of age, monthly heartworm prevention starting at 5 months of age, monthly flea/tick prevention starting at 12 weeks of age, and transport costs from the original shelter to a foster home. K-9 Lifesavers will provide this medical care to this adorable puppy until he or she is adopted. Once this pup is adopted, their forever family will assume all medical and financial responsibility for him or her.
