Mama Maya raised 5 kittens on the streets of Fresno to adoption age. She is so happy to be inside now! Her kittens were adoptable through Pet Smart in River Park, and now is her time to find her perfect home. Maya can get along with other cats if they are submissive, but does not like dogs. She loves to cuddle and is a great lap cat. She would be happiest in a low energy home with someone that is around a lot.
Maya is scheduled for spay surger this Tuesday, and if all goes as expected will be available for adoption on June 24th.
7/2/16 Maya has recovered from surgery and is doing fantastic! She is getting along much better with all of the animals in the house, all though she still doesn't like the dogs. The young lady that checked out Maya to make sure she was ready for surgery verified that Maya is still a kitten herself, approximately 9 months old. Maya loves to be with people and follows me everywhere! She sleeps in bed with me every night that there isn't a dog in bed with me. She loves being up high, and will definitely need a cat tree or two in her forever home.
All animals adopted from ACT are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped prior to adoption. Every pet adoption comes with a free health exam in the first two weeks, provided by Pet Medical Center, Fresno, http://petmedcenterfresno.com/
