UPDATE - July, 2016:
Mario was adopted in late 2014 but his owner is having major surgery & couldn't care for all her dogs anymore so she surrendered Mario back to COPR so we could find him another home.
Update 8/2016 from his current foster mom: Mario is a very sweet boy who likes to please. He does not like storms, fireworks or other loud noises.
He is a great lap dog but likes to play - he gets silly when playing with him, he can twerk!
He is very ,very quiet. Have not heard him bark at all.
He is living with 4 other dogs right now, one large and 3 smalls and he gets along well with the.
He will stay in my bedroom all day and come out for potty breaks - play or food. I try to keep the door close to make him engage with the rest of the crew. He runs with them in the yard but a bit of an awkward playmate. He is not a confident dog but he has made great strides since he has been at my home.
He is good for grooming and nail trims.
He is a love!!!
Mario is not having any housebreaking issues at his current foster home. He has a history of inconsistent marking, he will require a adopter that is willing to work with him on this issue if needed.
total sweetheart, calm & mellow.
He is a very sweet boy with a big personality.
He prances when he walks. :)
Mario loves everyone he meets.
Mario loves to lounge around on his human's lap and spend time with him.
He would do best in a quiet home with 1 or 2 other dogs for him to play with.
Mario will also need a fenced in yard.
loves walking on the leash.
good with older, considerate kids.
crate trained, good in the cage all night.
Mario gets along great cats!
does well in the car.
