Marion is one of the sweetest, most gentle dogs we have ever met. She jumps around like a billy goat when she is happy to see you. She loves her toys. She loves treats and wants to learn. Her most favorite thing is to climb into your lap and be snuggled while getting her ears rubbed. She will make some lucky person an amazing companion.
Marion is an active girl who likes to run and play but settles down nicely. She was new to a leash but does well with a Wonder Walker Body Halter. She does enjoy a short walk if there are no other people or voices to frighten her.
She would do excellent with someone who is a runner/jogger as she loves to run. Some more intense exercise may help with her fear level as well and help to calm her brain.
She loves playing chase with other dogs. She is medium in size and likes all types of doggies.
She loves toys, especially the tug of war kind and balls. She will take them to her bed and make a collection. ☺
She prefers adult females. Avoids men completely. A female only home is best as she will tend to bark at men. She can be a climber at a fence looking for “escape”. She will need to be diligently supervised to avoid a runaway situation until she is very at home, and even then, a watchful eye.
Her foster has worked on wearing the halter and leash which she knows does willingly. She now knows “sit” and we are working on “off”, as she tends to jump when excited. She is eager to please, so basic training would be a mutually beneficial experience for her and her new owner.
Marion is vaccinated, spayed and ready for a loving home. Her adoption fee is $295.
We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$395. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
