Meet Maxx, a one year old male Beagle. He is a gentle boy and very sweet. He came to us along with three other beagles from a gentleman who was ill and could no longer care for them. Maxx is also completely blind. The previous owner said when he had rescued him he was already blind then, so we are not sure if he was born that way. He gets around pretty well once he becomes familiar with his surroundings. The vets have checked him and have confirmed he does not diabetes which is common for dogs that are blind, and they are not sure what has caused it. He is neutered and gets along well with other dogs and older considerate children. For further information on Maxx, please email us at email@example.com or call Rebecca at (619) 851-1129.
His adoption fee is $200.00.
All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.
Please download our Adoption Application at our website, www.fourpawsrescue.org. Complete and email it back to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - You must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an approved adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are (spayed/neutered), micro chipped and up to date on their vaccines. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a good fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, Pure-breeds adoption fee will vary. Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters, as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is placed with the new adoptive family in their home. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact Rebecca at 619-851-1129 or Debbie at 619-283-1364.
