Maya graduated from an eight week obedience class on 8/25/15. She did great!
Maya is a fascinating dog. She is a lab/shepherd/maybe some boxer thrown in for good measure. She is about three years old and plays like a puppy herself. She is the dog who came to our rescue to have her 11 puppies on Christmas Day, nursed them for five weeks and went to another foster home to nurse 3 orphan pups for five weeks. She is phenomenal. Her 11 pups are all adopted now and she is looking for a home.
She has an issue with little children as they move so fast. We are working on that but would not adopt to a home with young children. However, she is a wonderful dog with a kind heart. She can be a little protective (barking) when someone new comes in her home but we find that having a bag of treats on hand makes the new people happy and Maya estastic.
She likes other dogs and ignores cats. Her adoption fee is $150. To adopt her please do our application at www.pawsandprayers.org and if you have any questions please email firstname.lastname@example.org .
.........Maya melts into you when she gets a chance. Even with her few problems, her foster mom would say she is one of the most loving dogs she has ever fostered. Maya completed a training class at PAPPS Dog Obedience School.
Please fill out an adoption application today at www.pawsandprayers.org.
