Maysa is a 2 year old mother who arrived from Texas with her babies. Maysa delivered her litter at the shelter and the entire family was scheduled to be euthanized. Now safe in DRMs care, Maysa, who is very malnourished, underweight and seriously neglected from her previous life, has been found to have heart worm disease. Maysa will be treated for heart-worm now that her puppies are in their foster homes. She will also be fully vetted and spayed after she recovers from heart worm treatments. If you are interested in adopting Maysa please read our adoption policy and fill out the application. While she will be getting care for some time while in rescue, we would love to start finding her forever family as soon as possible. Maysa is a sweet girl with a gentle and kind temperament who deserves to find her happy ever after home. Please consider donating to help with her very expensive heart worm treatment. DRM is a non-profit 501(C)3 charitable organization, recognized by the State of Minnesota, and is able to help these homeless animals with donations. 100% of our donations go directly back to helping and saving our dogs. All donations are tax deductible and we will send a receipt for your generosity in helping us help these homeless Dobermans.
