Melody, spayed female, 1.5 years old, 44 Lbs.
Melody was discovered at a mountain side when she was about 10 months old. She was extremely friendly and sweet who came toward to me for a pet. After giving her some kibbles and chicken, she followed me to my car and seemed not intend to leave. It’s really a big struggle for me ‘cause I had already got 5 rescued dogs at home and really didn’t have any room to keep her. I made a call to my friend and checked if she can help to foster her. Not for too long, her husband called back and agreed to help Melody.
After thorough physical checkup at the animal hospital, she was amazingly healthy. We gave her a very good bath and surprise with her beautiful look. Vet said she was obviously a Border Collie mixed young dog who might be abandoned by a border collier master just because she was not a pure breed.
Melody is a very sweet girl. She seems not afraid of anything. She is very friendly and adventurous to meet strangers. She is very friendly and moderate to play with other dogs and kind to children. With Border Collie’s gene, Melody is quite playful and needs some long hours walk daily to release her energy. She will be a good hiking companion for you and a playmate for your children.
