Mia

Domestic Medium Hair

Medium  |  Female

Los Angeles, CA

DOB: 11/1/15
Beautiful Mia was trapped by management at DWP and taken to East Valley Shelter. The person who had been feeding her ask for Kitten Rescue’s help is getting her out of the shelter. Because Mia was deemed feral, she could only be adopted by a rescue group. The plan was to spay her and find a place where she could be a barn cat and live out her life as a feral… but something happened when her rescuer put her in a cage for recovery after spay: She meowed. Feral cats do not meow. Meowing is a cat’s way of communicating with humans. It was Mia’s way of saying “I want a home.” After a couple of months of socialization, Mia has become a sweet, lovable cat, who likes to be petted and held. We still think a quiet home with a kitty companion would be best for her. If you would like to meet Mia, email her
