Say hello to Backes, NBRAN’s newest clown, a comical, playful senior at approximately 8 years old. He was found as a stray along with another Britt who has already found his forever home. Backes had to stay in foster longer so he could be treated successfully for a lung infection. It’s kind of hard to tell for sure how old he is because he has worn and missing teeth. Backes is a 60lb (over weight) sweet heart, a little on the shy side. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Although he clearly had never been in a house; he is quickly learning house rules and he is mastering potty training.
As long he is inside for the night he is happy with a place on the floor to spread out. Backes will need a home with either a 4’ foot fence or an invisible fence, no more escaping for this fellow. This clown would be good in any environment where humans are available to open and close doors in true Brittany fashion.
He is neutered, micro chipped and up to date on all vaccinations. Backes is currently in foster care in Michigan. His adoption fee is $200.00 if you are 60 years or older, he does qualify for the $100 senior to senior adoption fee. He can be transported up to 1000 miles, with the adopter driving the last 100 miles of his journey. NBRAN does require a home visit and vet check. If you are interested in Backes, please go to nbran.org and complete an online application. The coordinator in your state will contact you. The Michigan Coordinator handling the adoption for Backes is Joanne Denomme. Please contact her if you have any additional questions at firstname.lastname@example.org
