Meet Mikki! This adorable, sweet girl came to us recently from McFarland, California. Sadly, she was placed up for adoption at the county shelter and was overlooked for months. A volunteer asked us to help re-home Mikki and we knew we couldn't say no to such an adorable pup. She was transferred up to our rescue on 8/11/16.
Mikki has a gentle demeanor and is just a totally loving girl. She is laid back but also ready for the next adventure. Her favorite activities are being pet, going for walks/runs, and laying on the couch watching Netflix.
Mikki does very well with other dogs and would love to live with kids. She may do fine with cats, too! Best of all she is the perfect medium-large size of about 60 pounds and is only a year old. She would make a wonderful first-time dog and wouldn't mind apartment/city living!
We believe Mikki may have come from a breeder or puppy mill because her ears were "tagged" by having the edges cut off. Just don't tell her she looks any different, because she thinks she's as cute as can be (and we agree).
