Miri is a wonderfully happy and lively girl now that she is out of the shelter and into a temporary foster home. Miri is quiet, hardly ever barking. She is doing well with house manners. She is crate trained, and happily goes in her crate for mealtime. She is a chow hound and will overeat if allowed, so her new owner will have to have scheduled and portioned meal times. She gets along with other dogs, and only gets a little testy with them if they come near her bowl while eating. She would work well with a playful dog or person to help her wear off her energy. She would probably enjoy any kind of walks, jogs, or a hike in the woods with her person. Miri is extremely affectionate and loves to be petted and held.
Since Miri’s estimated birthdate is 4/8/2011, her adoption fee is $275 [senior citizens (age 62 and older) and military personnel receive a 15% discount on adoption fees].
