Please contact Patty (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information about this pet.
Miss Prissy is a 6 month old, sweet, lovable girl. She is also feline leukemia positive. (from Friends.org, Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) is a disease in cats that can cause anemia and lymphoma, among other serious illnesses. The good news is that FeLV-positive cats may live many years in a healthy state. There is no set life expectancy for FeLV-positive cats; much depends on the cats immune system and ability to fight the virus. If exposed, some adult cats can fight off the virus, but if they test positive after exposure, it is a lot harder for them to clear themselves of the virus. Cats who fight off the virus develop immunity and become resistant to future infections... )This wonderful little thing deserves only the best for the rest of her life. Lots of love and a comfy home. She, and her brothers were brought to paws and prayers when they were just 6 weeks old. They have been loved and grown into wonderful kittens, very affectionate, playful, and will make a cat lover out of the most adamant skeptic! Please, if you have no other cats, or you already have positive cats, take a minute to consider giving her a loving home for the rest of her life. You can meet her at One of a Kind Pets adoption center, 1929 west market st, akron ohio 44313. Ask to go to the feline leukemia positive adoptables room, and when you are ready, fill out an adoption application there.
