Mister could be a tuxedo cat if tuxedos came in orange and had extra-long spats, but this big guy really isn't a night on the town sort of guy. He would really rather stay home and snuggle. He likes to be petted, head bumped and cuddled. He comes to the front of the kennel if he thinks there is a chance that any of those things will happen. Mister is a good lap cat...he likes to climb into your lap, wrap his body around you, and burying his adorable face under your elbow. He also enjoys being held and will give you hugs while you are holding him. But, as much as he likes the cuddling, he is prone to becoming over-stimulated. It is very important to pay attention to his body language because he will let you know when he is done. Because he can get over-stimulated with too many pets, he would do best in a home without very little children. He tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which means that he needs to be an indoor only pet. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives with this condition and it's very difficult for other friendly, neutered cats to catch. In addition to this, he has diabetes which requires some additional attention as well as grain free food. This sounds like a lot for one little cat to deal with and that's why he needs a forever family that is willing to help him stay healthy.
