Momma is a cuddly, sweet spaniel mix with a great story. She was found in a field alone during a cold winter day by a passerby, who brought her home to join him and his dog in hopes of finding her owner or a new home. She was a bit underweight when he first met her so he thought her noticeable weight gain was from regular meals. Much to her foster's surprise, Momma had a litter of five puppies a few weeks later! Now that the puppies are older, way bigger than Momma, and have found new homes, it's Momma's turn.
Momma is a complete love bug, full of wiggles and excitement. Although she is nearly blind, she doesn't let this stop her from running around the yard, and playing with her puppies and other dogs. In fact, she would be best in a home with other dogs because she enjoys their company and she learns from other dogs. She has interacted with children of various ages and done well. She has not been cat tested yet. She is housebroken too!

Weight: 25 pounds
Reason for surrender to shelter: Momma was found as a stray.
