Mr. Buster has not always had an easy life, but he has an indomitable spirit that will charm you. He was adopted from the shelter five years ago, but was surrendered when he suffered a back injury that limited the use of his hind legs. He was an outdoor dog, and it seemed like too big of a lifestyle change for him.
But Mr. Buster likes the indoors just fine. He's been living in foster and he does very well in his crate. He can't really play with other dogs due to his injury, but he doesn't mind hanging out with them. He's pretty chill and easy-going overall. He's not very cuddly, but he does love to be near people and receive pets and kisses.
We think a good home for Mr. Buster would be with some gentle and understanding adults who can give him a nice, steady routine. He's fine with kids, but the younger ones tend to want to hug and squeeze, which isn't always good for his back. He hasn't met any cats yet. He gets along pretty well despite his injury, but he can't go on walks or really play. Because he was an outdoor dog, he hasn't been house broken, so there will be some additional training required. Obedience isn't really an issue. "Sit" and "Stay" are his two favorite things.
Mr. Buster has an adorable, expressive face that really lets his heart and spirit shine. If you're looking for a low key dog with tons of soul, Mr. Buster might be a good fit. He'd be so happy to meet you. If you have questions, please email email@example.com.
