All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.
Muffin Girl is a perfect little Lady, always. Although she does have diabetes, it is well controlled with medication. She has a happy, friendly, playful outlook on life. Here is what her foster says about her:
Muffin is a special girl, has been in a loving family all her life but
due to some circumstances beyond control she has found herself in need
of a new home. Muffin is a very loving, obedient little girl. She is
the perfect size for a "lap dog." She is sweet and loving. She likes to be close and knows commands. She sleeps all night and is great on a leash. She likes to play with toys
and then cuddle.
Muffin has been diagnosed with diabetes and takes an insulin shot with
breakfast and dinner. You sure wouldn't know it because she loves
everyone, wagging her tail and giving kisses. She has been around
other dogs and children and does great. She is very happy and adjusts
to new environments very quickly. She has had basic and trick training and is well house trained.
Muffin is just looking for a loving home to spend her senior years and
someone that is willing to continue on with her insulin twice a day.
She is on a special diet. Estimated cost of insulin and food is about
$70 a month.
She does not require quiet or any special treatment, she is living
with other active dogs right now at her foster and doing fine.
Please consider giving this sweet little girl your love and a place to
feel comfortable for her senior years. She is so easy to love !!!!!
