Munch was living with an elderly couple who had rescued many dogs and sadly the situation had got a little out of control. When the lady passed away the gentleman needed to move out of the home and into assisted living, he would not leave until all of his dogs were safe. Almost Home and some other rescue groups stepped up to help. Munch came of one of our foster homes.
Munch is a very shy little dog initially but warms up once he gets to know you. He will need an understanding owner who will help him develop his confidence and work to gain his trust. He is only 2 years old so still young enough to make huge improvements, in the short time he has been in his foster home he has already shown he is capable of this.
He is still working on potty training but making progress and improving daily. Munch is food motivated which makes training a lot easier :-) He has got along with all other dogs we have introduced him too, large and small. He is a lovely little character and it is a pleasure to watch him play.
We feel that Munch would do best in a home without children, he needs a lap of his own and a person he can really bond with.
Please consider making Munch a part of your family and contact us for an adoption application and to arrange to meet him.
