Nahla - this cutie was rescued with her 3 other siblings from an abandoned building in St. Louis. They were initially going to be returned to their feral cat colony but they were just too sweet and young to be sent back, so they were sent to Heartland instead. Nahla has beautiful markings and is petite for her age. Although she is a bit shy at first, she is just as sweet and affectionate as can be. When she wants attention, she follows me around, rubs up against my legs and chirps - it's adorable! She likes to be near me as much as possible and can often be found on my lap, cuddling. It’s amazing to see how much she has come out of her shell since she was first brought to my home several years ago. Like most kitties, she likes to play and enjoy a good game of feather toy and laser light chase. She is fine with other cats once she has been properly introduced but expect her to be a bit hissy at first until she gets to know them. She has never been around dogs before so we aren’t sure how she would do with a canine friend. Older kids are preferred since she is on the timid side, but shy kitties often make the best pets because they bond with their humans very closely and are the most loyal companions. Nahla is no exception. She may need a brief adjustment period to a new home, but she will reward you with lots of love and purrs. Nahla is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV. DOB 5/13/12 – tag # 7879.
