Breed: Dachshund Mix
Meet Adorable NanNan.
That was the happiest day I’d never forget!
As usual I was on my scooter riding home from work. I’d been on this road for 10 years and enjoyed the beautiful view of the clear stream and evening breeze. But that day was different. When I just turned into the path, I saw an old lady lifting a stick to scare away a little puppy. The puppy was so native and kept coming back to her wagging his little tail. But the next movement did frighten me. The lady roughly hit the puppy to hurt him. Without a second thought, I stopped my ride, rushed to the lady to stop her from hitting the poor pup again. I questioned the lady how brutal she did to the puppy but she just stared at me and claimed “look at him, he has derma disease, it must carry lots of germs and virus. I hate strays, they should just be vanished.” To be a dog’s owner, I was very angry and upset to get her statement. Instead arguing with her, I turned away to look for the poor pup. He must be hurting, scared and wondering why he was brutally treated. After searching for a few blocks, I discovered him hiding under a vehicle, trembling! I crouched down; spoke softly to encourage him to come out. He was such a cutie! Not for long he came out, wagging the little tail and looked at me with a pair of beautiful naïve eyes. Despite his smelly skin, I picked him up; put him in my bag, riding directly to an animal hospital. I named him NanNan from the initial name of the beautiful path I met him. After thorough physical checkup, Vet said he had serious canine scabies and suggested to isolate him in the animal hospital for intensive medical treatment. One month later, NanNan was fully recovered from canine scabies but needed time to have all missing fur growing back. I gave him many nutritious supplements to help him getting healthier. Very soon he grew up with beautiful soft fur and become so adorable to be loved by everyone. NanNan is a very sweet, intelliegent and enthusiastic pup. He is so friendly to all creatures. He is such an easy going cute little fellow who makes friends so easily with dogs, children and strangers. He loves to run and play in the park. Every time we go to the park, he enjoys the green so much and always carries the sweetest smile to welcome everybody. And now NanNan is ready for a forever loving home.
