Please contact Richard for more information about this pet.
Meet Nellie! Nellie and her sister Netta came to us from a high kill shelter. Sadly these girls were very sick when they arrived but have been to the vet and are now feeling much better! Netta and Nellie love to cuddle and love spending time with their humans! Both girls are in a foster home and being crate trained and are working on house breaking.
If you are interested in meeting Nellie, please complete an application at our website, www.helporphanpuppies.org. Please note our adoption requirements and feel free to contact us with any questions. Thank you.
Please note: All of our dogs are fostered locally a minimum of 2 weeks. Adopting a dog that has been fostered locally is a very important consideration. Animals that are fostered locally in private homes allow the fosters to learn more about the dogs personality and allows for making the best match possible. Also, animals that are transported into our area and placed directly often carry diseases, including parvo and distemper. Animals can also become ill on transports to the northeast, as they are exposed to other animals in route. If you have any questions regarding these diseases and the risks of not adopting locally, please contact your vet.
Also consider any group that does not require a home visit. If they are not conducting a home visit consider if they are vested in where their animals go. As an organization, we invest a significant amount of time into all of our dogs, including crate training, house breaking, obedience training, and determining each dog's personality to consider making the best match possible.
Please note we do our best to guess a breed/breeds of a dog but without both parents present we are unable to guarantee a breed.
