United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A4994470 Ocho is a snuggle-bug 7-year-old black-and-red female Chihuahua who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on September 19th as a stray from Azusa. Ocho weighs a petite 6 lbs and looks like a tiny -- very tiny! -- Doberman with her striking coloring. She’s a pint-sized darling who loves to be held and snuggled. Given a chance, she leaps straight into a lap and stays there. Ocho also loves treats, which is always a plus when it’s time for training. With her loving nature and portable size, Ocho will fit beautifully into her new owner’s life as an indoor pet and companion, and will be happy to accompany you wherever you choose to go.
