If you have second thoughts about adopting a stray or abandoned dog/pup, please check out our "Successful Adoptions Page" and see how many dogs we have already placed into loving homes. Be sure to check out their happy endings under "Happy Tails!"
Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application. Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check. 2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, and Phoenix area - as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).

Sweet little Olivia (currently 9 weeks old) may have had a rough start to her very young life, but it's going to be sunshine and roses from here on out! We are looking for a foster-to-adopt home for her, as 2nd Chance Dog Rescue always puts our dogs/puppies’ safety first - for this reason we won't spay/neuter our puppies until they have been fully vaccinated (4 months old). But we understand how important it is to start socializing them at a young age and are willing to place them into foster-to-adopt homes. If you are interested in adopting Olivia, please fill out an adoption consultation form. Once we have reviewed and approved it, we will contact you and arrange a meet/greet/home check. If everything goes well, you will begin your foster to adopt trial, 2nd Chance Dog Rescue will conduct weekly follow-up visits and will continue with her puppy vaccinations. After two weeks of fostering, we will confirm if she is the right fit, and whether or not to make the adoption final once she has been spayed (at this time a $100 deposit is required). If the adoption is agreed to and approved, we will remove Olivia from our website. You will continue to foster until she has received her last vaccination, is spayed and microchipped. Olivia's adoption fee is $195.00
