Olivia is a smart and resourceful girl. She must have had a home once, but knew how to survive when she ended up living on the streets. When she arrived in her foster home, she thought she still needed to hunt bugs and lizards, but soon she was happy to eat from a dog bowl, sleep on a dog (or human) bed, and enjoy air conditioning.
She's mostly focused on her humans, but she also gets along well with her four doggy foster brothers, and quickly adapted to their personalities. She especially likes the feisty Chihuahua. We think she would thrive in a home either with or without other dogs (we haven't observed how she is with cats).
Olivia is the perfect combination of a dog who can keep up with an active owner, but isn't hyper or demanding at home. She adores going for daily walks, and she is the perfect walking partner, trotting with a huge smile, never pulling and ignoring other dogs who pass by. She would probably love running with her humans-we think she is part Whippet, after all! She is also pretty good at fetch and might make a good Frisbee dog.
Olivia is calm, polite and observant and sensitive to what her person is feeling. Having a bad day? Olivia will gently nudge you for some extra snuggles. Busy on an important project? Olivia is happy to snooze by your feet or entertain herself with a chew toy. She's house trained and is working on crate training.
Olivia would love someone who could spend lots of time with her, include her in their daily activities, take her daily walks and occasional adventures. If that describes you, come meet this beautiful girl!
