About Ollie: He was found in a street with an injury to his eye and brought to the local open intake shelter. He was in pain with his eye and was going to be euthanized if a rescue did not save him. So we did. Ollie's trauma to his eye was so severe he had to have it removed. Ollie became very bonded with his first foster and did great with the other dogs. The only problem was he was scared of visitors. We just recently got Ollie in a new foster home so he can be around new situations more often and learn that he is still safe even with new people and occurrences. He is doing great already! So much improvement and they have guests over frequently. He has already bonded great with his new foster. Does good with the other dogs. I would say if you are looking for a dog to bond with...Ollie is it. Ollie follows his new foster dad around EVERYWHERE. They sent me a video and every turn he made...there was Ollie! haha. Ollie will just take a little time to adjust to a new environment. I'm guessing Ollie is possibly 2 now. Requiring a home with no small children for him just to be safe. He has been through a lot ending up on the streets, in the shelter, and losing his eye. We would like a more calm environment for him. Ollie is a special boy and we are looking for a special family to love him. If you are someone that wants a best friend to greet you every day...Ollie will be your man. As far as potty training he is let out frequently but just as with every dog they must adjust to the new owners schedules. Vetting: Ollie has had his left eye removed, been neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots. He is heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He has a $100 adoption fee.
