I AM THE PERFECT DOG - EXCEPT NO CATS PLEASE. And no small children under 8 because I'm a rough tumbling guy! You'll have to walk on water to adopt me says my foster!!!! I'm so incredibly loving that I just want to run in the yard then come in and cuddle in your lap. I like to sleep half way across you while you're reading or watching TV.
I'm almost 2, weigh around 52 lbs (all muscle), and am heartbreakingly handsome, darling as can be and pure lovable. I do love to romp and wrestle with other dogs.
I get excited about people, dogs, kids, anyone or anything that gives me attention. I love to welcome people. I give my foster big hugs by putting my paws on her shoulder and stretching up. I'm still learning that jumping is rude!! And she is trying to break that.
I'm a puppy and need time to play and exercise. I must run free and have a LARGE FENCED YARD - MANDATORY - at least 1/2 an acre. Simply walking me on a leash doesn't allow me to expend energy nor does jogging.
I listen well, learn quickly, am incredibly intelligent, love being a LAP DOG. I enjoy my baths as well as snuggling on the sofa or in bed, running, and chewing on all the toys I can get!
If you turn the water sprinkler on then you'll find me in it - running through it, trying to drink it up. I did get in my foster's pool but didn't want to learn to swim in it. My foster won't let me learn to like it because I might wind up at a house without a pool and that would break my heart! So at this point we don't know if I'll like swimming or not.
My foster gets lots of laughs about me when she's sitting in the yard in the evening and I'm roaring around like a handsome miniature stallion! I hunt nonstop and go after small creatures. I never stop moving until the evening or an occasional afternoon nap. I'M HIGH ENERGY.
I sit or lay down to wait for my food, I enjoy car rides, and playing with other dogs. I kiss my foster's dogs and rough house and in general am as happy as a doggie can be.
ARK’s licensed dog trainer/whisperer, Jose D’Roman, with 16 years’ experience, has certified this dog to be an ESA. The certificate accompanies the dog’s adoption. Emotional Support Animals are dogs that provide comfort and support in forms of affection and companionship for an individual suffering from various mental and emotional conditions. An emotional support animal is not required to perform any specific tasks for a disability like service dogs. They are meant solely for emotional stability and unconditional love. They can assist with conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder/mood disorder, panic attacks, fear/phobias, and other psychological and emotional conditions.
Emotional support dogs are protected under federal law: Under the Fair Housing Amendments Act (FHAA) and the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA), an individual who meets the proper criteria is entitled to an emotional support dog to assist them with their life. The FHAA protects individuals by allowing their emotional support dog to live with them (even when there are no pet policies in place). The ACAA protects individuals by allowing the emotional support dog to fly with them in the cabin of an airplane (without having to pay any additional fees). Any dog can be an emotional support dog, and emotional support dogs do not have to be professionally-trained.
