Oscar was actually an abandoned dog running in the country, miles from homes. All efforts to find his owner have failed. He was not chipped and was not wearing identification. He is a little timid at first but shortly after caring for him, he is your best friend.
He is a typical Doxie in that he attaches to one person and he may be snappy at the others in a home, at least initially. He is somewhat alpha and has been defensive with a puppy. So he needs older playmates. He is a happy dog, loves running around in the yard. Well house trained, barks or scratches to be let outside. A doggie door would be great for him. Micro-Chipped.
