Playful Patch wants to be your best buddy! He's a young terrier mix who loves to chase tennis balls and return them to you. He also loves the water and can even catch tennis balls in the air. He knows how to sit and has a happy personality! He's medium-sized and strikingly handsome, with a great smile and black markings on his white coat. We think he'd be a great dog for an active person or family, someone who knows bully breeds. He has reactivity issues that can be managed, including difficulty giving up resources, but he does trade up with treats. He should be in a home with children 15 and older due to his playful exuberance. He plays well with other dogs and loves to be mushed on. He'll jump right into a swimming pool, and when you adopt one of our great NHS dogs you get a free month's membership in Aurora's Dog Park next door -- which has a pool shaped like a dog biscuit! Patch is asking for guidance and consistency, and in return he'll show you what a fantastic dog he can be for a lifetime. To thank you for giving this lovable guy a great home, his adoption fee is just $25. Please watch his video, then come on over and meet adorable Patch!
The adoption fee helps in covering the medical treatment that has been completed. This includes the cost of the spay or neuter, testing for HW, HW preventative, rabies vaccination, wormings, annual vaccination, and flea and tick treatments. If you are interested in adopting this pet, first visit our home page, www.nassauhumanesociety.com to complete the adoption application, view hours of operation, see other pets available or just to get directions to the shelter. You can email or fax the application to the shelter. If you have other questions you can call the shelter at 904-321-1647 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We cannot hold a pet for adoption; therefore if you plan on traveling to the shelter please call before you leave to assure the pet you are traveling to see will be there. Some of our pets are in a foster care home with a volunteer and if you wish to meet those pets an appointment will need to be made. Thank you for considering one of our shelter pets for adoption.
