FOSTER / FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED /// ARRIVES SATURDAY OCT 15
Patience is a gorgeous 3-year-old Husky Border Collie mix who ended up in the yard of our rescue partner in California. We think she was dumped by her owners as she had no microchip and no one came for her. Our rescue partner couldn't bear to bring her to the shelter and reached out to us for help in placing her. She is arriving on Saturday, October 15th and will go into a foster home. She is potentially available for adoption off transport to the right home, pending an approved adoption application, since we already know quite a bit about her personality.
Patience is an energetic, enthusiastic fun-loving dog who would love to join an active family. She is very high energy so she would do best without small kids in the home. She is only 37 lbs and is a healthy girl. She loves to go-go-go. She wants to be with her people all the time. She may do okay with other dogs, but would probably prefer to be the only dog in the home. She has not been tested around cats. Patience would like a big secure yard to play in as well. This girl is quite loyal, affectionate and incredibly intelligent. She is a border collie Husky mix, so a lot of activity will be important for her.
We are looking for a foster home to care for this dog with a minimum 10-day commitment to help us asses the dog's personality and best fit in a forever home. We cover all veterinary expenses and can also reimburse for food for provide supplies, if necessary. Fosters have the first option to adopt with an approved application!
If you can help, please email firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP!
