Meet Patty, a 5 year-old St. Bernard mix with a passion for air conditioning, ice cubes, and shade trees! This girl has not been a fan of this long hot summer. In fact, the snowflakes can't start flying soon enough to suit her! Patty came to us very overweight but has been with us now for a couple of months and has slimmed down from 108 pounds to 93. She still has a way to go to reach her ideal weight (70-75 pound range) and needs a home where her family will be able to provide her with lots of exercise and a healthy diet to help her reach her goal. Patty gets along well with dogs of all sizes but might be fine as the only dog in the home too. She loves attention from her human friends and even enjoys being a lap dog as you can see in her pics. Patty is crate-trained and likely to be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. Her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email email@example.com if you’re interested in Patty. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
