Boxer, born in 2011 (estimated), Neutered male
My life has been topsy-turvy these past few months. First, my previous owner turned me over to Chicago Animal Care & Control because they could not afford my medical bills. While I was in the CACC kennels, I caught a bad case of kennel cough. Angels from C.A.R.E. rescued me and nursed me back to health. My foster mom says my personality is calm and reserved, with none of the typical Boxer goofiness. I find vets scary because I’ve seen so many recently. I have enjoyed getting to know the other dogs at my foster home. Because of my size, my perfect person will be someone who is confident with dog training and dog handling--someone who will be able to create a solid leadership relationship with me.
Size: Large / weighs 90 lbs.
Housebroken: Yes, and crate-trained
Obedience: Attendance in D.O.G. Obedience classes is required.
Medical: Vets removed a large, benign growth on Pax's muzzle after he came to C.A.R.E.
Pax is neutered, microchipped and has had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines.
