This is Peanut! Peanut looks to be a Hound mix that was born sometime in 2009. Unfortunately Peanut has gone through some ups and downs in his life. At a young age Peanut and his siblings were found at a camp, along with their dead mother. Peanut and one of his sisters ended up getting adopted together, but then after two years they returned him saying that they only wanted one dog. Peanut is a tall, quiet, gentle and friendly fellow that is eager to please. He loves people and previously lived in a home with children. He is good with other dogs and has not been cat tested, but can be if needed. He is crate trained, leash trained, house trained, and will not get on furniture unless he is invited. Peanut is the type of dog who loves to walk on a leash and would make a great walking partner. He also loves to run and play in the yard, so a home with a fenced-in yard would be best for him. Peanut is looking for the perfect family who will give him the love and life he deserves. He's a handsome, well-mannered boy who LOVES to cuddle! Does Peanut sound like he could fit in your heart and home? If so, please fill out an application today and you may get to call Peanut...yours!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
