DOB: 7/12 Weight: ~50 lbs.
They all have a story. Penny's is one of abandonment. Not only once but twice. Our goal is to turn her life around so she can have someone to love for life. Her last humans left her to starve on the streets so she now believes her current bowl of food may be her last so she will devour it in seconds. She is a very loving girl and she loves all humans...even respectful children of all ages. She does well with most dogs with proper introductions. She has been known to have some anxiety when left alone so we will provide a sturdy crate when she gets adopted. She is housetrained and enjoys treat filled kong toys. If you can be a devoted human friend to help her feel safe and secure, please go to pcpoundpuppies.com to fill out an application. We have a two week foster to adopt trial program.
Penny came to the shelter 2/15.
She has had a rabies shot, 7-way shot, bordetella, and been wormed. She is also spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
Our adoption fee is $130.00 and it helps to cover a portion of the dog's vetting costs. The adoption process includes the completion of an application followed by an interview.
