A Little Bit About Me
Percival was brought to us from Solano County via our Pet Partnership Program. This handsome cat is a bit on the shy side and will do best in a quiet home without the noise and activity of young children. Adults and teens would be fine. Because Percival has a pink nose, he should love indoors only -- away from potential sunburn (and skin cancer). Plus, Percival will feel safest if he can stay inside away from scary sights and sounds.
Percival may want to hide at first, so allow him to feel safe by giving him a small private room with everything he needs: food, water, a scratching post, a few toys, and especially a cozy bed with high sides (or a hiding box) where he can feel safe. Spend plenty of time with him in this space, and coax him out to sit on your lap. Lots of snuggle time is what Percival needs, along with some quiet petting and a bit of combing. In time he will come out of his shell and be ready to explore the rest of your house, but don't be surprised if Pecival always wants to hide when people come to visit. He may choose you to be his one-and-only!

Hi, he looks similar to my cat that jumped out of my window a few days ago, but avalanche has gold eyes. He would be very upset, too! The limit feline pressed the automatic windows and JPEG out... Still looking for him
