Name: Peter Age: 3 mos Reason for surrender: found as stray Animal ID#: A32059740
Peter A32059740: Active, slender, gray, short hair, male. He loves to
climb on the kitty perch and to wrestle with his foster brother. He enjoys
hiding in boxes waiting to pounce and really likes jumping and chasing the feather
toy. He's very entertaining to watch! He is food motivated. He has lived
with his sisters as well as an unrelated adult male cat so he has cohabitation experience and has done
well with all. He's a well mannered boy. He used to be skittish of humans
but has learned to trust and now will purr and head-butt me when I pick him
up. He also will settle down after a bit of playing and snuggle up on my
lap. He would prefer a home with a friendly/playful pet mate unless you plan to
frequently engage with him. Apply with PAWS and put Peter on your app!

PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization. PAWS pulls at-risk animals from the City of Philadelphia's animal control shelter and adopts them out from several locations: our Old City adoption center (2nd and Arch Streets), our Northeast Adoption Center (1810 Grant Avenue); our Wellness Clinic at 2900 Grays Ferry Avenue; our adoption locations at the South Philly and Cottman Avenue PetSmart stores; and, our network of foster homes.
PAWS is dedicated to saving the lives of Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals and is working to make Philadelphia a city in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.
